Anne Babu
FOUNDER & ADVOCATE
Anne Babu is the visionary Founding Partner of Anne Babu and Company Advocates. With over 17 years of experience as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Anne holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nairobi and a Master’s in Industrial & Employment Relations from the University of Turin’s International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization in Italy. Anne, consistently recognized by Chambers & Partners and Legal500 as a leading employment lawyer in Kenya also heads a proficient team dedicated to maintaining exceptional standards in managing client affairs and business operations. Furthermore, Anne is a Gold Star Kenya and Nabu Global Inc. board member, highlighting her dedication to impactful societal initiatives.

Nicholas Weru
PARTNER & HEAD OF LEGAL
Nick is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over eight years of distinguished experience in Employment and Commercial Law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and has built a reputation as a committed and skilled legal professional, providing tailored legal services to corporate clients across various sectors. In 2024, Nick’s dedication and exceptional contributions to the firm were recognized with his promotion to partner and head of legal, reflecting his leadership and expertise in the legal field. He is a seasoned litigator with a strong track record in handling complex wrongful dismissal claims, human rights issues, and constitutional law matters. His extensive practice also includes drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and resolving commercial disputes, ensuring clients’ compliance and safeguarding their legal interests. As a leader in legal education, Nick spearheads training initiatives on employment law and ethical practices. Additionally, he serves as a board director for Hope for Cancer Kids, showcasing his commitment to community service and advocacy.


Caroline Nduta
HEAD OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS
With a career spanning over 15 years across manufacturing, hospitality, and professional service industries, Caroline has built vast experience and expertise within Operations and Finance. Her current role at Anne Babu & Co Advocates focuses on optimizing operational efficiency. Led by the strong belief that the secret formula for delivering profitable growth for any business starts with empathy for the customer and building solutions for their needs, Caroline passionately fosters innovation, team empowerment, and business transformation. Caroline holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Sunderland, UK, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K).
Bhoke Inimah
SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Bhoke Inimah is a Senior Associate at the firm and a skilled advocate with nine years of experience in both litigation and advisory work, specializing in employment and commercial law. With a proven track record in resolving complex legal matters, Bhoke represents clients in a wide range of employment disputes, including wrongful termination, discrimination, employee grievances, and employee benefits issues. In addition to her litigation expertise, Bhoke provides strategic advisory services to businesses on employment policies, corporate governance, intellectual property, and risk management, helping clients navigate the legal complexities of day-to-day operations. Bhoke is committed to delivering practical, business-oriented solutions that protect client interests, minimize legal risks, and ensure compliance with ever-evolving laws and regulations.


Isabel Gakuo
ASSOCIATE
Isabel is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, having been admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 2021. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL. B Hons) from Strathmore University in 2018. With her understanding of the labour laws, commercial contracts, and criminal law, she is involved in offering our clients legal support through providing advisory services, debt recovery, watching brief in criminal matters, drafting and reviewing employment documentation, legal representation in court and other forums and conducting training. She is well-versed in advising on regulatory compliance matters and implementing proactive measures to mitigate legal risks.
Wesley K'Ogangah
ASSOCIATE
Wesley K’Ogangah is a distinguished Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Kenyatta University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He was admitted to the bar in 2021. As a seasoned litigator and transactions advisor, K’Ogangah has successfully argued matters before various courts, tribunals, and arbitral forums, demonstrating his prowess in the legal field. His areas of specialization encompass Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Employment and Labour Relations Law, Conveyancing, Insurance Law, and Electoral Law.


Fiona Tambo
ASSOCIATE
Fiona is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, admitted to the Roll of Advocates in 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from the University of Nairobi, where she graduated with Honours. Fiona brings expertise in data protection, labour law, and commercial contracts, making her an invaluable asset in providing comprehensive legal support. She is instrumental in debt recovery, assists with enforcing claims, and negotiates on behalf of clients. Fiona also drafts and reviews employment agreements and policies to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. In addition to representing clients in court, arbitration, and other forums, Fiona stays up-to-date with evolving legal standards through research and content curation for Kenya Employment Law. She also facilitates training sessions on regulatory requirements and best practices, particularly in data protection and employment law. Her commitment to client service and analytical skills enable her to deliver practical, effective legal solutions.
